On September 11, 2001, Richard Keane was working at the World Trade Center when two airplanes crashed into the two towers. For some time, his wife Judith did not know if he was alive or dead. Students at West Hartford, Connecticut, Charter Oak School wrote personal letters and drew pictures for her, providing her with moral support.
